BK

The smaller board in the Bk Pro line, the 9’10” is best for the lighter rider. Our BK Pro line was designed by Brian Keaulana to provide an all around, stable ride that can handle heavy waves and rapids as well as calm touring. With a lifetime of waterman experience going into the design, you can guarantee that these boards can and will do it all

I have the bk pro 9 10. It is an excellent all around board and small enough to surf too. It only works well in river waves that are pretty flat but seems like it would surf well in the ocean. It is stable enough for class I-II rapids easily and may be okay for class III for a really experienced paddler. There is plenty of nose rocker, the tail shape and stomp pad make it extra maneuverable, and the board is really stiff at 18 psi. For running rivers and hitting the lake I’d probably get the 10′ 9 unless you’re pretty small. I weigh close to 180 and sometimes feel the 9′ 10 is a little too small for me, but it’s pretty cool to have one board that does a bit of everything well.
